Blog

Hi and welcome to my blog!  I share little snippets from weddings that I shoot here, along with selects from engagements sessions.  I hope you enjoy!

Erin & Chris

I don’t often shoot weddings in the city, but this one made me want to do it more often! Erin & Chris had a very elegant wedding and were so laid back and relaxed. Beautiful people, beautiful wedding and just about the sweetest Bernese mountain pupper to ever grace the Rosewater Room!

Juliann & Kurt

When it comes to back yard DIY weddings, this one has to be one of the nicest I've seen in a while.  It's almost like the bride is becoming a wedding planner or something!  Juliann and Kurt had an amazing and intimate wedding, right in their own front yard.  Then, to follow that, they threw an equally gorgeous reception in their back yard!  I was blown away that while waiting for her hair to set, Juliann and her bride's maids were out there hanging signs and setting up various other elements of this beautiful wedding.  I had my ol' pal Sean Deakin along to shoot this one with me, job extremely well done sir!  Until the next one!

Cory & Tim

I had been to Mississauga Golf & Country Club once before when I was a little fella.  Coming back to shoot Cory & Tim's wedding was likely the best way to see this incredible club as it looked unbelievable.  This was one of the only few half day weddings that I am shooting this year, which always presents a unique challenge to get a bunch of great photos in a short amount of time.  This time, it wasn't a challenge at all as this couple, (most of) the weather and this venue were all absolutely gorgeous.  Wedding season is in full steam and I'm having a blast.  I hope everyone is having an equally great summer!

First wedding of 2017!

Well hello everyone!  I hope everyone is having a fantastic 2017 so far.  With wedding season right around the corner, I thought I would share a few photos from my first wedding of the year all the way back in January!

They had planned a beautiful winter wedding, but, Mother Nature had more of a rainy/grey day in mind!  Sometimes she can be pretty annoying eh?  When nasty wedding day weather hits, I get challenged to make it look awesome, and shooting with folks who stay positive like Shannon and Dave makes it a total breeze.  Embrace change and good things will happen!  So happy to have been a part of their wedding!  Here are a few selects from their big day!
